Explorers – Paragliding Trial Day

We are currently running one day trial courses every weekend at £95 per Explorer, max 12 Explorers per day. They have to be at least 14 years old to fly solo. This activity counts towards the Air Activities Stage 4 badge.

Our trial days are delivered in a tailor made format so the Explorers will progress quickly and safely along a BHPA recognised training program. Our instructors will introduce them to the equipment and teach them how the equipment works on the ground before they move onto the next steps. Once they are confident on the ground they will move onto small hops from our smallest training hill where they will float a few feet above the ground before making a safe soft landing. The final stage is to complete a number of small flights from a larger slope to experience the amazing feeling of flying like the birds. Throughout the flight our experienced instructors will be watching them and in constant communication with them.
